Born in Canada, Chef MAY CHOW, achieved great success back in the land of her origins, Hong Kong, been nominated in 2017 “Best Female Chef, by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants”. Chef and owner of “Little Bao” and “Happy Paradise”, May has a strong contemporary approach to the thoughts behind her dishes. The spaces she creates to present her food and her thoughts are vibrant and provocative. From questioning the value of food in relation to its cultural background, to gender perceptions in society. In this interview Che May Chow makes an analysis of the potential of food nowadays, looking back to the culinary scene in Hong Kong 15 years ago.
